In the interest of providing a venue for those who wish to focus on more authentic forms of tourney and melee combat in the SCA, we created the Historic Combat Series. First offered at Pennsic XXXI, the Historic Combat Series is not meant to be limited to just Pennsic. Work is already underway to bring Historic Combat Series tournaments and melees to Estrella and Gulf Wars, as well as local events.

Are you interested in bringing more authentic combat to the SCA, but feel you lack the resources to put on a more period tourney or melee?
